This introductory masterclass is thoughtfully designed to immerse you into the foundational arts of fine leathercraft without feeling overwhelmed. Guided by our skilled artisan, you will select your favorite cut of premium full-grain leather in rich heritage tones—from saddle tan and espresso to forest green. You will learn to use specialized French leatherworking tools, bevel and burnish smooth edges, punch chisel holes, and execute the indestructible two-needle saddle stitch. Finish your bespoke creation by hot-stamping your initials, a meaningful date, or a travel emblem into the leather. You'll leave with a handsome, enduring accessory that ages with a magnificent patina over years of use.

Choose your preferred leather hue and trace precise cutting templates onto the hide.

Cutting, Edging & Beveling
Cut the strap with rotary knives and bevel edges using hand edge-shavers for a soft, tactile grip.

Pricking Irons & Saddle Stitching
Punch uniform stitch holes with diamond chisels and sew using waxed linen thread and twin needles.

Edge Burnishing & Custom Monogramming
Polish edges with tokonole and wood slickers, then hot-stamp your custom initials or symbols.
